Join us for an unique backcountry experience. Above the Arctic Circle, in Swedish Lapland, there is a well kept secret hiding. The Kebnekaise, highest top in Sweden (2106m) and the mountains around are an amazing splitboarding playground. There is a clichĂ© in southern Europe that the swedish mountains are just hills… but here, you’ll find everything from the mellow, beginner friendly runs, to the split mountaineering terrain with sharp ridges, deep couloirs and steep terrain.
We can promise you a consistent and reliable splitboarding experience with absolutely zero fighting for great snow. We are staying at the Tarfala mountain cabin which is located just under the foothills of Kebnekaise, the highest peak of Sweden. The hut is placed in Tarfalavagge, one of the most beautiful valleys in the massif. This is a unique remote lodge location. We’re arranging this trip in cooperation with Upguides who have great local knowledge of the area.
