The Biru Splitboard is an inspired split made for backcountry rippers who slash gullies and pop pillows in any snow condition. Featuring a volume-shifted shape, medium flex, and full-camber profile, this little devil is as playful in pow as it is powerful on hardpack. A shovel nose paired with a compact fish tail delivers heroic float, while the wide waist width and snappy sidecut beg you to carve every turn. Finished with a durable TPU topsheet and aluminum tip and tail protectors, the Biru Splitboard is built for everyday use and abuse.
The Biru Splitboard is designed to be ridden shorter than your traditional freeride board. Size down 4-6 cm for best performance.
Performance Profile
Shape Features
Volume-shifted shape with a shovel nose, fish tail, and wide waist. The tail tapers outside the effective edge to balance powerful carving and nimble powder performance.
Full-camber profile for predictable control and edge hold with a tiny bit of early rise in the nose for float and easy turn initiation. Steep kick in the tail for confident switch riding.

Damp and responsive Bamboo, Paulownia, and Poplar core with lightweight Paulownia in the nose to reduce swing weight and Bamboo under the inserts for durability.
Construction
Triax fiberglass with carbon stringers for enhanced torsional stiffness and vibration dampening. Aluminum tip and tail protectors for exceptional durability.
Base
Ultra-fast Durasurf 4001 sintered base that offers supreme durability and exceptional glide in all snow conditions. High molecular weight for core-shot resistance and excellent wax absorption.
Hardware
Lightweight Phantom Herkules nose and split clips that balance supreme torsional stiffness with ease of assembly.
Topsheet / Sidewalls / Edges
Textured TPU topsheet with a matte finish. Impact-resistant polyurethane sidewalls with diamond-polished, lightly detuned steel edges. Edge angles: -1° Bottom, 88° Side
Flex Profile
Medium flex, stiffest at the center of the sidecut for unmatched edge hold and carving power. Outside the inserts, the flex gradually softens for easy turn initiation and a playful tip feel.
Sidecut
Nimble, snappy sidecut that gets slightly tighter in the tail for quick acceleration out of turns. Power Bumps improve edge grip and carving power on firm snow and icy groomers.
