The Descender Fjäderlätt Splitboard is a groundbreaking split designed for expert riders who demand an ultra-light board with phenomenal all-terrain performance. It has the same shape, flex, and profile as the Descender BC Split, but it’s built with a full-length Triax Carbon weave, full Paulownia core, and aluminum stringers for maximum response and weight savings. If you climb high and tour from dawn to dark, the Fjäderlätt will let you ride stronger for longer.

Shape Features
Directional freeride shape with a blunted nose for blasting through variable snow and a full-length, slightly tapered tail for stomping airs and riding switch.
Rocker in the nose and tail for float and easy turn initiation, matched with 5mm camber underfoot. The high point of the camber profile extends past the back inserts for enhanced pop.

Full-length Paulownia core for maximum weight savings with two full length aluminum stringers for damping, Ash inserts under the clip and binding inserts for enhanced durability.
Construction
Full-length Triax Carbon weave for ultimate response and weight savings, flax dampening pads to absorb chatter and enhance edge power.
Base
Hyper-fast Electra Graphite 5920 sintered base that’s infused with graphite to reduce friction and improve glide. High molecular weight for core-shot resistance and excellent wax absorption.
Hardware
Lightweight Phantom Herkules nose and split clips that balance supreme torsional stiffness with ease of assembly.
Topsheet / Sidewalls / Edges
Chip-resistant TPU plastic topsheet. Impact-resistant polyurethane sidewalls with diamond-polished, lightly detuned steel edges. Edge angles: -1° Bottom, 88° Side
Flex Profile
Medium Stiff flex, stiffest at the center of the sidecut for unmatched edge hold and carving power. Outside the inserts, the flex gradually softens for easy turn initiation and a playful tip feel.
Sidecut + Power Bumps
Long radial sidecut for drawing big lines and bombing through variable conditions with confidence. Power Bumps improve edge grip skinning up or shredding down.

Holds an edge like nothing else and easily stays afloat in the deep.
Pretty stiff both flex and torsionally, so good choice for heavier powerfull riders.
