Cheater 200 is a limited edition version of it’s smaller brothers. It shares the same basic outline but has a revised, longer rockered nose in combination with Low Camber and Tip-Tail-Rocker. Our goal was to reinvent the big mountain gun adding a big dose of surfy playfulness. The result is an easy turning freeride board that even handles frontside resort riding, albeit with no speed limit. Ride it in powder and you will feel how the groundbreaking design comes in to play with perfect balance. Three layers of rubber dampening, make for a ride smooth as butter on hardpack. The nose rocker makes turning easy and creates float. Additional carbon stringers in the tail section adds longitudinal snap. A fast and maneuverable board for cruising, carving and big mountain riding.

It’s easy to shape for hero conditions with no crust or ice, but the perfect days are too few to depend on. We construct boards you can trust even in critical situations. A Stranda longboard is built using proven technologies and inspired by riding in the most diverse terrain. We use sophisticated sandwich constructions that create new performance standards for powder and groomers.
At Stranda Snowboards we use ash wood and a minor part poplar in our cores. Ash is perfect for building high-performance snowboards as it dampens vibrations and holds its camber, extending the life of your board. Adding poplar keeps the weight down. Choosing a premium material also allowed us to reduce the use of petroleum-based composites. We use a thin layer of bamboo as the topsheet, which adds to performance.
We build our snowboards with classic camber and distinguish between Standard Camber and Low Camber: Cheater 200 comes with Low Camber, the center of the board is slightly elevated to 6 mm and the contact points are moved more towards the center which makes it easy slashing up powder and spring slush or changing directions while freeriding.
The Cheater’s blunt nose is combined with Tip-Tail-Rocker and a Semi-Swallowtail. The result is a precise feeling of control at any speed. This is a fresh take on mixing on-piste edge hold with off-piste playfulness. With 40 mm of setback and the short Semi-Swallowtail, it naturally sinks its tail to steer in powder.
