Yes, that’s correct. Your board’s shipping is included in the price if you buy your Stranda directly from us. And that commitment is WORLDWIDE, which is a massive saving if you’re comparing prices. You should normally receive your board 3-5 workdays after placing an order.

Free shipping only applies to our snowboard and splitboard range.

Klarna Checkout

With Klarna Checkout you can shop online easily, flexibly and safely. By replying couple of easy questions you identify yourself in the service and can choose the best payment method for you. 

You can choose between following payment methods: invoice, part payment, cards or bank payments – all equally safe! If you experience problems with you card provider, send us a mail and we may be able to solve you problem with banktransfer or a PayPal invoice.

Sales tax and duties

If you’re inside the European Union and Norway all prices shown includes VAT/sales Tax. There will be no extra duties applied.

If you shop from outside EU and Norway prices are shown WITHOUT tax. Ordering from Switzerland, UK, USA, Canada – prices shown are in respective currency with VAT deducted = TAX FREE. Rest of the world tax free in Euro.

As EU/Sweden and Canada has entered the the CETA trade agreement there should be no duties applied on orders shipped. Local sales tax may apply which is the same as when you would shop locally.

Stranda Snowboards guarantees that all snowboards sold in our online store or by authorized dealers are free of defects in material and/or craftsmanship for a limited period of 4 years from the date of purchase.

If you wish to return a faulty product, please email us a detailed description of the problem and some photos, so we can assess your complaint and advise you on the next step as quickly as possible.

This warranty is void if the product has in any way been modified, changed or altered, unless we have authorized these changes in writing.

The warranty does NOT cover:

Damage caused by hitting rocks or other types of impact is NOT COVERED by our 4-year warranty.

Any damage caused by, related to, or resulting from, changes made after purchase. Cracks in the lacquer and non-structural cracks on used snowboards. Scratches, chips, and/or indentations in the topsheet. Graphic fading, discoloration, or other small blemishes that do not impair performance. Abrasion. Damage caused by improper mounting of bindings. Damage caused by using the wrong length screws to mount bindings. Spinning or stripped inserts caused by improper mounting of binding hardware.

Customers/dealers are responsible for shipping charges when sending boards for a warranty inspection.

Return shipping costs for valid claims will be covered by Stranda Snowboards.

Want to return or exchange a product?
No problem! There is a 21-day return period for all orders. Products must be returned with unbroken original packaging and in the box they were shipped in. Any hangtags or stickers must be attached to the product. If you do not return the packaging and hangtags, we reserve the right to charge an administration fee of 20% of the product’s value. A full refund will be paid into the original payment account within 14 days of receiving your return.

If you wish to return a faulty product, please email us a detailed description of the fault and some photos, so we can assess your complaint and advise you on the next step as quickly as possible.

We will refund the shipping costs:
– If the product is defective or if a system error occurred during the order process, resulting in you receiving the wrong product.
For all other returns, you are responsible for return shipping costs.

No refunds for items returned without prior notice.

Tariffs, import taxes, etc., can lead to high charges on returns from non-EU countries. This can be avoided if your courier files the correct documentation. PLEASE ASK US before returning any products, so we can help you avoid these costs.

At Stranda Snowboards, we want to provide useful advice and help you choose the right longboard for your ultimate experience.

We’ll normally get back to you in a couple of hours, depending on your time zone. On weekdays, we aim to answer your e-mail within 24 hours.

1. Insurance

Adequate travel or accident insurance is a condition of your contract with either us or the supplier in question, as applicable. You must take out a policy of insurance in order to cover you and your party against the cost of cancellation by you; the cost of assistance (including but not limited to: medical and repatriation costs) in the event of accident or illness; loss of baggage and money; and other expenses. Failure to disclose relevant information may affect your insurance. If you fail to travel with adequate insurance cover we will not be liable for any losses in respect of which insurance cover would otherwise have been available.

2. Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for checking-in for flights at the correct time and for presenting yourself to take up all pre-booked components of your arrangements. We cannot accept responsibility for missed flights or trains as a result of late check-ins and no credit or refunds will be given if you fail to take up any component of your booked arrangements.

By booking a Stranda course you will be taking advantage of a huge amount of experience and expertise. The instructors and mountain guides are well trained in the safety aspects of snowboarding in the mountains. They can advise, help and lead you. However snowboarding involves an element of risk, which you must accept as inherent to the sport. You must take responsibility over your own actions and decisions when skiing on the mountain either by yourself or within a Stranda lesson group. It is known that accidents do happen as part of snowboarding. By booking on a Stranda snowboard course or backcountry trip you will be accepting the risk involved and accepting that an accident may happen. You will also be responsible for deciding to take part in any activity whether an exercise, a particular technique, snowboarding a particular slope, snowboarding a particular speed or snowboarding particular snow textures. We or the instructors and mountain guides working on behalf of Stranda cannot be held responsible for accidents and your actions. If at any point you wish not to take part in an activity for any reason then you must let the instructor or mountain guide know immediately.

3. Minimum Ability Levels

On each course there is a minimum acceptable snowboard ability level. It can sometimes be difficult to judge your level and you may find that your snowboard level is below the minimum level for the course you have booked. Usually we are able to cater for this eventuality; however, on some occasions we may need to transfer you into another appropriate course with a ski school or arrange private instruction with another instructor. These alternative lessons may vary in duration and may not be equivalent to the original course booked. Any additional costs incurred for these additional lessons will be payable by you directly to the snowboard school.

In the event that due to your absence from the course (due to injury or otherwise) your snowboarding ability becomes incompatible with the other participants of the group and it proves impractical to include you in any of the classes arranged by us or our suppliers, we undertake to discuss the situation with you but reserve the right to exclude you from any booked course or activity.

4. If You Cancel Your Booking

If you decide to cancel your confirmed booking you must notify us in writing. Your notice of cancellation will only take effect when it is received in writing by us at our offices and will be effective from the date on which we receive it. We recommend that you use recorded delivery. Since we incur costs in cancelling your arrangements, you will have to pay the applicable cancellation charges up to the maximum shown in the table below (the cancellation charge detailed is calculated on the basis of the total cost payable by the person cancelling, excluding insurance premiums and amendment charges which are not refundable in the event of the person to whom they apply cancelling).

If the reason for your cancellation is covered under the terms of your insurance policy, you may be able to reclaim these charges.
We will deduct the cancellation charges from any monies you have already paid to us.

Transferring your Booking or Activity: In the event of cancellation you may be able to transfer your booking, to another person if we consider their current snowboard ability suitable for the course, and if all elements of the booking, including accommodation, are suitable to their needs. We reserve the right to refuse the transfer of bookings to another person.

5. If We Change or Cancel Your Booking

We may in exceptional circumstances be required to cancel your booking in which case a full refund of all monies paid will be made to you. We regret we cannot meet any expenses or losses that you may incur as a result of change or cancellation.

Very rarely, we may be forced by “force majeure” (see clause 11) to change or terminate all or some of your arrangements after departure. If this situation does occur, we regret we will be unable to make any refunds, pay you compensation or meet any costs or expenses you incur as a result.

6. Force Majeure

Except where otherwise expressly stated in these booking conditions we will not be liable or pay you compensation if our contractual obligations to you are affected by any event which we or the supplier of the service in question could not, even with all due care, foresee or avoid. These events can include, but are not limited to war, threat of war, civil strife, terrorist activity and its consequences or the threat of such activity, riot, the act of any government or other national or local authority including port or river authorities, industrial dispute, lock closure, natural or nuclear disaster, extreme weather events, fire, chemical or biological disaster and all similar events outside our control or the control of the supplier concerned.
